Burundi: Why and how does the Imbonerakure militia of the CNDDFDD been formed? (Second part)
In our edition yesterday on April 5, 2021, we left with this misunderstanding that a political party that is in power / or simply a power that has the defence and safety bodies to its control can think of setting up an Imbonerakure militia of the CNDDFDD. It seems almost incomprehensible, but it’s a reality. We saw yesterday the apparent patterns that pushed the CNDDFDD power to create this militia. We have also seen that the basic elements were CNDFDD demobilized that have been used to intimidate the population so that it elects the CNDDFDD in 2005. Many other young Hutus were approached to follow this training that has Started in the neighbourhoods of Kamenge and Kanyosha, then in Kibira in Province Bubanza and finally in Rdcongo in Kiriba Ondes.
Today, we will focus on the question of how this training was organized, what young Hutus learned during the training.
At the ideological level, they only learned ethnic hatred. ” Tutsis killed us in 1972 and recovered our property, all young Hutu must know how to handle the weapons so that we can keep power for life, and that in our turn, we come to exterminate and recover all their goods”. Here, it should be noted that the majority of these young people were servants (workers). They were reassured that everyone will get home and the property of his boss. It was then necessary, the moment coming from genocide, exterminating the whole family without exception so that there is no embarrassing element that could demand family property. These young people were motivated in this training because being convinced that the houses of their bosses will one day be under their control.
At the technical level, they were first used to tiring sport, then learned some weapon combat techniques, then to fuck the doors without doing too many noises, open the doors locks without those inside those inside. The room do not realize it, to photocopy the keys of the doors and keep the copies.
Then they learned the parts that make up a weapon (AK47 called Kalash), then disassembly and assembly. At this level, it was enough because we had to wait for a new training in the kibira to learn, this time, to shoot with weapons. Thus, in the future, a training in the Kibira de Musigati in Province Bubanza has been organized, for young Hutus which have been trained in the neighbourhoods, but also for others recruited, especially in the provinces of Bubanza, Cibitoke, Muramvya and Kayanza.
Here, it is necessary to note the active participation of Anselme Nyandui, then governor of the province Bubanza, the provincial commissioner Remegie, alias Kajisho and Commissioner Communal Gihanga, Guillaume Magogwa (he was called at that time Mr. Police position Gihanga). These people played a big role in traveling and organizing this training in Kibira. It is estimated between 10 and 12,000 Hutu young people who would be trained right now. Binub helicopters were dispatched to truly check if there was training in Kibira and they even took pictures as evidence. That’s when they stopped this training and they thought of organizing it to the eastern DRC in Kiriba Ondes between 2011 and 2012.
We will come back to this training in Kiriba Ondes, a training that, at the beginning was secret, but that has been bare by different human rights organizations, both Burundian and Congolese and which made a global scandal with the Assassination of the Italian sisters of Kamenge. The CNDDFDD power committed so many crimes that it will have to answer its actions one day.
URN Hitamwoneza will never cease to remind Burundians and the international community that Burundi will never have peace until these CNDFDD leaders are still in power. They are ready for everything; They know that the crimes they have committed will never be tolerated, it is for this reason that they are always ready to commit others to the regional genocide.
