Burundi: Repatriation of Burundian refugees continues; those in the sights of the cnddfdd are killed.
The lull situation in Burundi, which deceives the international community that there is security and peace, is also pushing some countries to force refugees to return to their country. Added to this the manipulation of the Gitega government, which discourages the most naïve from returning, believing that they will not be prosecuted if they arrive in the country. But, the cnddfdd killing machine has names in their computers of targeted people, accused of what we don’t know. These, if they are not killed today, they will be killed tomorrow.
According to our sources of information, of those who have already returned home, two from Mahama in Rwanda have already been killed so that no one realizes it. One is from Mutaho in Gitega, the other from Kirundo. Both were hit by vehicles on public roads; they died of it. We are talking about traffic accidents. Two from Kenya are also reported to have been killed in the same way in Karuzi.
We also learn that the returnees who are currently in Bujumbura live in hiding because they fear being targets of the ruling military clique that is always on the lookout for people to kill; especially Tutsis, those who allegedly participated in the demonstrations against the illegal and illegitimate third term of the late President Nkurunziza and all political opponents in general.
The same sources say that there would be returnees returning to Mahama camps in Rwanda or Tanzania. Two reasons can justify this return to the camps: it is either that they realize that they have been wrong about the situation in the country, that they still feel under threat; either they have received a mission from the military power of Gitega to return to disrupt the security of those who remain in the camps to force them to return or simply in search of information about what is happening in these camps and inform the power of Gitega. He has always been afraid that refugees will organize themselves there to launch attacks on the country.
It would not be the first because all the criminal and dictatorial powers that drove its citizens out of the country were confronted with their rebellions. Every citizen has the right to his country, so he must fight to find him if he is excluded. But Gitega’s military clique must be fooled; it is not in the camp that rebellions are prepared; refugee camps can be places of recruitment. Evariste Ndayishimiye’s power must know that there will be no rebellion that will attack the country from outside the country. All those who are going to blow up this military clique that is taking an entire people hostage are in this country; they are patriots who share everything with them, who know all their organization and their forces, both political and military.
President Evarsite Ndayishimiye liked to say to the late President Pierre Nkurunziza this phrase: “If you eat alone, you will fight alone”” to say that if you don’t care about others, during difficult times, you can’t count on them.
And we say to him: Mr. President, the people you have killed since 2015, those who have been raped and beheaded, those who are arbitrarily imprisoned, those who have been tortured and able to escape from your dungeons, those you have driven out of the country, those you have pursued to the refugee camps in Tanzania to kill them or force them to return and that you are trying to eliminate one by one; everyone has friends, acquaintances, neighbours who are dissatisfied with your governance. To blow you up and your whole clique is a matter of day.
URNHITAMWONEZA will support any citizen or group of citizens who will take any action that will save Burundi and Burundians from this descent into hell to which the military clique is leading the country in seeking to complete the genocide it has long begun. We also advise all refugees who do not yet feel safe to stay in the camps or to change camps for those who are not safe where they are and wait for things to change in the country before they can return. You also need to monitor the movements of people who come out of the camps, who come home and return to the camp. Beware of these men and make serious investigations into them to find out if they have returned after threats from Gitega’s power or if they are spies who are driving for Gitega and disrupting your security. All Burundian citizens who still wish to see our country regain security, peace, stability and development must join forces, without distinction, to drive all these criminals out of power and bring them to justice; this is the only way we can live together in peace.
