Burundi: When is the end of the incursions on Rwandan soil of genocidals from Burundi?
Whatever one says or does, it is difficult to prevent, through simple negotiations, the genocidals from killing. First, we must speak to them the language they understand the most.
Burundi has been working with the Government of Rwanda for some time to see ways and means to normalize relations between brotherly countries. The heads of the intelligence services and the heads of diplomacy met at the Gasenyi-Nemba border on 26 August and 20 October 2020 respectively. After the boycott of the Goma meeting by the Burundian President, Evariste Ndayishimiye finally participated on 20 November 2020 in the meeting by video conference of the heads of state of the IGLS. All these initiatives have no other purpose than to see how to ease tensions and encourage collaboration, the exchange of information between states in this sub-region where armed groups are swarming that disrupt the security of states from other neighbouring states.
The most recent case is the attack on Tuesday 01 December 2020 in Nyamuzi in the Bweyeye sector of Rwanda. The group that carried out the attack reportedly took stolen items with them after being driven out by the Rwandan army. He is said to have retreated to the Kibira of Burundi from where they came; the imbonerakure of Mabayi are said to have entered this forest with them, bearing their booty; testified to SOS medias an elected of Ruhororo. The residents of Mabayi who saw these men say they spoke Kinyarwanda. It is probably the groups of the FDRL or FLN who have taken positions in the Kibira of Burundi where they feel total security.
And this is not the first time such incursions from Burundi have been made on the southern part of neighbouring Rwanda. Some remember the attack on June 27, 2020, just a day after the funeral of the late President Nkurunziza (as if they were waiting for the end of this ceremony), where after their failure, the Rwandan army captured some of these genocidals and seized a good batch of their equipment. Among the logistics that this group had on them were cans marked: Burundi National Defence Forces, Not to Sell, Made in China. And everyone knows the degree of cooperation between Gitega’s power and China. It is clear that these cans were derived from the stocks of the Burundian army. This shows the degree of cooperation between Rwandan genocidals who disrupt the security of this country from Burundi and the power of Gitega. And it’s no wonder when you hear Evariste Ndayishimiye say aloud that he can’t collaborate with a hypocritical country (igihugu ciyorobeka). He was in Busoni in Kirundo province as of August 7, 2020.
However, it was the army of the same country he was talking about that arrested and handed over to the Joint Verification Mechanism of the IGLS 19 Red Tabara fighters and their weapons. They had just spent a whole month disrupting security in Burundi; they would have found themselves unknowingly in the Rwandan part of the Kibira, their leader said. Pierre Nkurikiye, spokesman for Gervais Ndirakobuca alias Ndakugarika, did not fail to accuse Rwanda by publicly declaring that the rebels had come from Rwanda and retreated to the same country. One way of saying that they had their rear base in Rwanda. If this were the case, why would the army have arrested them? Elementary logic!
It is this attitude to show that the other is bad (Rwanda), that it is at the origin of all the problems between the two countries, that Burundi is holy, that Gitega keeps spreading messages on social networks (at any occasion that arises) to say that Rwanda will soon close the radios of exiled journalists, that it will deliver to Burundi alleged putschists who would be on its territory etc. Assuming he had the will to do so; What is Burundi doing in return? Is it a way to strengthen relations between the two countries if FDRL and FLNs are attacking Rwanda and retreating to the Kibira, with imbonerakure helping to transport stolen loot to Rwanda?
It is not Evariste Ndayishimiye who was trained by the French alongside the fdrl who will agree to permanently drive out these negative forces (FDRL/FLN and others) from Burundi; it shares with them the same ideology of exclusion and extermination of the Tutsis and Hutus of the opposition; together they are preparing for a regional genocide. And the starting point will be Burundi. That is why it has become the gathering ground for all genocidals.
URN HITAMWONEZA believes that it is more than urgent that Burundians stand up to fight by all means this power of Gitega which seeks only to provoke conflicts between neighbouring states in order to find all the pretexts for a regional genocide that it prepares with the negative forces of the sub-region.
