The Burundians actually voted this day of May 20 2020; But, the military clique of the CNDDFDD in power, she who had decided, with many polemics within the system, that Evariste Ndayishimiye is candidate of the presidential party; It was herself that this same Evariste Ndayishimiye has been president of the Republic while he had not won the elections. Everyone remembers that former President Pierre Nkurunziza wished to see the former president of the National Assembly Pascal Nyabenda succeed him at the head of the state. A good strategy for him to keep his influence in the country with his title of supreme guide for patriotism that gave him advantages comparable to those of a head of state. He was going to be king of Burundi. The military clique in power has said no to Pascal Nyabenda under the pretext that it has not been to the battlefield, as if the country will never be led by a civilian; This is what the CNDFDD military clique would have decided.

It was at this moment that the military clique ordered Mr Kazihise to proclaim, without having gathered all the data, that Evariste Ndayishimiye is widely ahead of other candidates. This same military clique obliged to the media to disseminate the first trends while the synergy organized by the CNC (National Council of Communication) had signed an agreement to disseminate only the final results transmitted by the CENI. These are some facts. And the free newspaper.
