Burundi: Great defender of Rwandan genocidaires, Alain De Brouwer tries to help Gitega’s power
Alain De Brouwer is this Belgian, former political advisor in charge of Africa within the IDC (International Christian Democracy), who has always supported the genocidal regime of Juvénal Havyarimana and who tried to defend the genocidaires by denying the genocide of Rwandan Tutsis. He globalized and sowed doubt on the genocide of the Rwandan Tutsis of 1994. Sometimes he spoke of killings, then of double genocide, then again of the single crime of genocide which affected all Rwandans, etc…. He would have tried to block the prosecution of these Rwandan genocidaires in international courts. He and other European personalities visited the refugee camps in DR Congo which housed these FDRL genocidaires; they supported their plan to take up arms again after their defeat and regain power in Rwanda. The delegation wrote in their report: “The new Tutsi-majority government must have no illusions. The Hutu community comprises able-bodied men and women determined to return to their country with or without the consent of the new authorities in Kigali “. This delegation would have even met the then President of Burundi, Mr. Sylvestre Ntibantunganya, who also supported and encouraged these genocidaires to regain the power they had just lost to the RPF. The genocidal refugees said they had 40 to 50,000 men who knew how to handle weapons well.
Here is a man who stands up today to support the power of Evariste Ndayishimiye. He wrote to Joseph Borell Fontelles., High Representative of the EU in charge of relations with other countries and informed the President of the European Parliament to advocate for the lifting of European sanctions against Burundi. He tries to block the way to the ideas of the 43 parliamentarians who asked that the EU not rush to resume the granting of direct aid to Burundi because it has not changed anything in terms of respect for human rights requested by the EU. Alain Brouwer presents Burundi as a poor country whose population is in such need of help, a completely secure country whose image is simply tarnished by the 2015 coup plotters. Note also that the President of the Burundian Senate met on February 26, 2021 the EU representative in Burundi, Claude Bochu for more information on the letter that the 43 MEPs sent to Joseph Borell.
All this shows how much President Ndayishimiye and his military clique had invested a lot in their efforts to obtain the lifting of European sanctions. They managed to lie and get Burundi to withdraw from the political agenda of the United Nations Security Council and are now turning it into a business fund to show that everything is white, that the Security Council has even approved it. However, in its statement, the council did recommend to the Burundian government more respect for human rights. Shrewd observers believe that the Security Council wanted to encourage the power of Evariste Ndayishimiye to be more open (unlike his predecessor who had chosen the complete isolation of Burundi from the international scene) in order to subsequently force him to respect for the fundamental principles of human rights.
And Evariste Ndayishimiye has always believed that it is by his beautiful eyes or his speeches of good intention that he would convince the countries of the European Union to agree to easily give him the money of the European taxpayer when his men continue to kill, torture and arbitrarily imprison Burundians as they wish with total impunity. All the EU envoys met by President Ndayishimiye demanded certain changes in the management of the country; which he would have gladly accepted, but the implementation of which has always been blocked by some big fish in the system. Things now seem to have stalled as these EU countries have already seen that they do not have a serious partner; a head of state who is not free to make decisions that commit his country, a paper tiger.
Evariste Ndayishimiye and Albert Shingiro should know that it is not by resorting to white extremists like Alain Brouwer, who is known for his anti-Tutsi positions, that they will obtain the lifting of European sanctions. It is by respecting the rights of every Burundian and foreigners living in Burundi that European citizens will see that it is time to unblock their euro to help the power of Gitega.
“Tell me who you haunt, I’ll tell you who you are,” they say. The collaboration with Alain Brouwer proves once again the collaboration of Evariste Ndayishimiye and his clique with the Rwandan genocidaires located in the East of the DRC who are still desperately trying to regain the power of Kigali as Brouwer advised them just after their defeat in 1994. These genocidaires continue to benefit from the multifaceted support of the cnddfdd power in order to carry out attacks on Rwanda.
URN HITAMWONEZA once again asks the Burundian people to open their eyes to see that the power of Evariste Ndayishimiye will never cease to disappoint us. He and his military clique will continue to cry out for the unity of the Burundians, but they surround themselves with the extremists to obtain all the means necessary to commit a genocide of the Tutsis and the Hutus of the opposition in Burundi, and why not a genocide of the Tutsis at the sub-regional level. We must arm ourselves with new strategies to block its path in time. The international community must also keep a vigilant eye on this power of Gitega instead of thinking of strengthening cooperation with him. Giving it support is to encourage it more to accelerate the steps towards a regional genocide. This is what Alain Brouwer is trying to do: to succeed by passing through Burundi what failed him after 1994. A warned man is worth two. WhatsApp contact: +31685638237
